You may want to change the world, but it will never happen if you can’t execute to deliver needed business results. If strong purpose focused organizations fail to balance strong and effective business execution, they will spend too much, miss critical business objectives, shake investor confidence, produce poor quality products, disengage employees and customers, sell less, miss profits and ultimately die.
Organizations that are high in execution, but low in purpose focus are missing out on massive profits and growth. If strong execution organizations can’t balance their organizational purpose, employee engagement will be topical and the cost of attrition will be high. Such organizations will never realize their full business potential or be able to compete for the best talent in the evolving workforce.
